PRESS RELEASE – MAY 2008

St Albans Soroptimists raised £2400 for Home-Start over the last year. Home-Start St Albans Senior Co-ordinator Sally Patterson said she was "delighted", and couldn't wait to put the cheque on the wall in the office for everyone to see. Extra funding for Home-Start is always gratefully received and goes a long way in helping them to support families in need. Soroptimist fundraising events included a fashion show, a quiz night and Christmas carol singing at the station. A great partnership has been established between the two organisations which as Indira said “will last long into the future”.
